Bart is a trained actor, experienced SLT arts centre venue practitioner and a qualified teacher with 20 years experience working in the sector. He is a nationally acclaimed theatre director / writer / producer and an award winning independent schools Drama, Performing Arts and Shakespeare HOD.

The Stage








Bart trained at Rose Bruford Drama School, was a member of the NYMT, and has experience working in film, TV and theatre. In 2001 Bart founded a theatre company that gained ACE RFO status, specialising in new writing. Bart went on to tour original, professional theatre shows across the country before taking a post as Artistic Director in a venue in Northamptonshire. Bart then went on to create 17 record breaking original professional pantomimes for a venue in Berkshire whilst directing national professional tours, teaching youth theatre, programming music, dance, drama and visual arts events, directing large scale community shows, writing new plays, creating site-specific work, training as a teacher, working at Edinburgh Festival, at Sherborne School in Dorset and running a venue in Gloucetsrshire. Bart is currently in post as Head of Drama at a school in Surrey run by the owners of the Eden Project. Bart lives with his partner Ann, his children and two naughty border terriers. He loves creating all sorts of great theatre for all sorts of great people.
